call me a sashimi addict...

I think it was last year or last 6 months since I my lips tasted shake... nope its not the cold drink with several flavors such as mango, strawberry or melon.  the shake that I'm referring to is the Japanese word for salmon.  ^_^  yep! salmon! I really love the orange color flesh of that fish together with the buttery taste 

Its been a while and my craving rises as the days gone by.  I already included in my itinerary to visit bubble tea and eat some tuna and salmon sashimi.  They got a great quality of shake.  It really melts in your mouth the taste is superb.  I wasn't able to visit any high class sushi house but so far my comment for that is already two thumbs up.  lol!

As of today, visiting Bubble tea is still on my list.  Since it is really out of my way, I look for alternative stores selling nice quality of shake.  Good thing I tried buying my sashimi at shopwise... hindi ako nagsisi... it is still yummy!! and its so affordable.  I bought my shake sahimi flower for only 125php (not bad cause the service is alot) I already consider it as my dinner.. LOL!!! 

sorry cant control myself that I already ate half of it before taking a picture.  Next time ill make sure that I the next picture of my addiction will be from bubble tea ^_^.  I missed this and this just made my day!!

Three weeks after the Johnny Rockets hamburger fiesta with my sis, she invited me to watch a movie on a Sunday... whoa! a Sunday... yes a Sunday!

my sister knows that I 'm not fond of highly crowded malls. I dont really like getting bumped with people and they will look at you from head to toe as if you know them from other dimension hehe. Thank you for the long weekend and people are off to their provinces since Friday. 

So indeed, I agree to join her.

We went to SM Megamall for the bonding.  I waited for her for 30 mins and those are the best 30 mins I got for the day.  Why? I was able to see a lot of kids trick o' treating. -- well not that much since the mall just opened and FOREVER 21 is not crowded.  Yep! its usually crowded and the dressing room is in a queue.  My first intention is just to window shop but I ended buying a girl's favorite thing... well not really for broadcast hahaha

I planned to drop by Tokyo Cafe but since my sis already arrived at the mall, we just decided to have lunch.  I was intrigued with Pepper Lunch.  It is my first time to drop by that resto since I'm a huge fan of Yoshinoya and their green tea icecream.  It has been a great experience for our tastebuds and I'm looking forward to go back.  First, we lined up outside since there are alot of customers waiting also to get a taste of the yummy food that they offer

They got alot of choices.  Of course I didnt chose the usual so we can experience and we will know what is the special of this food chain. We saw pepper lunch before at Rockwell and Im quite curious of the taste and the reason behind why people are coming back.

well now I know the answer...

pepper steak, goma, and beef yakiniku for my sis... all I can say is wow! the sauce is the  key! their sauces taste really great and I'm wanting for more!( a taste of butter and honey -- i think) BTW goma is a black seaweed ice cream offered there. It also taste great just like a butchi, only served cold. Nice weekend with my sis and Im really looking forward for another one.

Its been a long time since me and my sister went to a food trip.  We usually pick a location and we set a date when to go there… just like the old times.  From Sambokojin to Something’s Fishy all the way to Cupcakes by Sonja, as long as the taste buds are looking for good food we are up to the journey looking for it

My sister preferred to go to Johnny Rockets located at Eastwood Mall Libis.  Love the diner ambience just like our sims eating those greasy food hahaha :) my sister ordered Smoked house single with onion rings (just add P50) while.  Mine is a Bacon Cheddar Single with fries at the sides.  Both of our burgers are medium well to enjoy the juiciness of the beef

To add she bought a black forest milkshake… why you know.. its really D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S.  my drink on the other hand is my favorite lemonade, good thing its bottomless

  

Both of us got satiated with all of those yummy treats and while eating, we enjoyed watching the dance number of JR crew. Also enjoyed the old school music from their jukebox.

My sister is looking forward to visit again. We ended our food journey with an order of butterfinger milkshake for me to enjoy at home.  Johnny Rockets is also available in Tomas Morato and Robinsons Galleria. Budget recommendation? well 500php  up for will do for a person :) 

The Cupcake Conspiracy

I was posting some pictures of my favorite foods and including those I posted Chef Sonja’s ever popular cupcakes.  My friend Mhean asked me to bring her to Serendra to she can taste the controversial piece of baked pastry. Since I’m also craving, I agree to her idea.

Khai decided to invite other batchmates as well… It ended up like a batch 10 BBtech girls night out since all of us joined the what you call conspiracy… hahaha I just used that term cause it all started out as a curiosity.

I didn’t forget to warn them that the cupcakes are good for sweet tooth only. I’m not used with people complaining that the food is too sweet if they already knew that what the heck they are eating is comfort food.

Its really a piece of heaven to me. Good thing all are available on my sister’s cupcake list. She requested for me to buy a Red Velvet and Chocolate Surprise; and because I’m a very loving sister I bought her a piece of Banana Walnut and Mocha Madness :) 

Btw, Cupcakes by Sonja is on their 5th anniversary.  Hoping for many more years to come. Its located in Serendra near Market Market
